On October 23, 2077, the world as we know it, has ended. Sino-American War ended with a nuclear exchange between the two. In under 2 hours, American society has collapsed. Many died, many surivied, many were scarred for the rest of their life. One of the places safe from the nuclear devastation was the system of Vaults made by Vault-Tec Company. Officialy made for the sole purpose of keeping US people safe during such an attack. Unofficially they were large experiment chambers. With the help of some cliques in the upper echeleon of the US government, Vault-Tec designed each vault to see how people would surive in a variaty of situations. One such vault was vault 15. Vault 15 was made to see what would happen, if people of very different cultures and customs, were be forced to live with each other. These people of course, had no idea such an experiment was being perfomed on them. After 50 years, the vault opened. People of the vault would go on their own separte ways. Most of the people become raiders, savages, such as Khans, Jackals, and Vipers. Some of them stayed behind. One group went with a miracle tool called G.E.C.K, meant to help turn the nuclear wasteland, into livalbe land. They went to settle, and they did settle. Not far away from the vault, the people found their place. Under the leadership of Aradesh, they founded a town: Shady Sands. In 2161 a person who noone knew, would come to their little, self-sufficient town, we know him today only as Vault Dweller. The Vault Dweller helped the town get rid of Radscorpios, and helped to recover Aradesh daughter, Tandi, from the hands of those who lived not so long ago with them in Vault 15; Khans. The settelment only grew from then on. Aradesh had a very utopian vision of the future of the wasteland. He wanted a Republic, a great nation that would unify the people of the California, with no prejudicies, no racism. His Ideas came into being, when 2186, he declared the creation of New Californian Republic. The towns and cities nearby over the years joined the republic as states, with varying degrees of autonomy. Sadly, Aradesh soon after the creation of his greatest work, passed away . Dying in 2196, he was succeded by his earlier mentioned daughter, Tandi. Tandi lived 103 years, ruling the republic for 48. Her rule would be a Golden Age for the Republic. With the help of the Vault Dweller descendant, NCR expanded again, this time to the North, making Redding and Vault City states. In 2248, Tandi died. She was succeded by her Vice-President Joanna Tibbett. Joanna would not rule long, for she would go on to become impeached. In 2253, in Bullhead City, a group of NCR citizens was massacered by the savages of the desert. Such a tragedy was met with little to no response, for this Joanna rule was cut short. Wendell Peterson was elected, promising to wage war on the mojave raiders. Today NCR shines across the wasteland as a source of old world civilasation. Time will tell if the the republic will be victorious in the so called Mojave Campaign, and victorious in other challanges, that the future will sure enough bring.
