At long last I have finally finished the second Autobot sprite I started not long after I posted Optimus' and, the only thing I am unsure of now is should the Truck Bed be Vermillion too? I am quite proud of this one here as you can plainly see this is a even greater refinement of my first design than Optimus was to his.

No no no I'm not trying to brag here. I am merely still thinking to myself "How did these pass for ok?" on the old ones. It's no secret I am ashamed of those first sprites. I still find Chaindash's to look ok but Optimus and Ironhide were not passable even as Alpha designs. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say but "Ech!" I must of been blind then.

The funny story on why this took so long to finish is I got distracted quite alot since I got my new computer. Games, games, games, did I mention games? I was starting to bug my friends with how much I played certain games and when that happens you know your playing too much Minecraft, Fallout, Skyrim or one of the now dozens of Train RTS games I have on my Steam account. It is a wonder my ideas ever stayed in my blasted ADHD filled cortex! Plus as I was doing research on a vehicle for another character in my comic I got distracted again by Locomotives.

I have made a vow to balance my spriting and writing this year. Equal love to my Train obsession, my Cybertronian fancy and my personal creation alongside Plokman.

So now that I have Ironhide complete I am going to finish something I've meant to do for a month and a half. That of course is my Christmas gift to my railway friends. Once I get that finished and done well I will be moving on to the next sprite in Transformers: Roll Out and this is a major doozy and the first Decepticon of the bunch. Ladies, Gentlemen, Cybertronians, and engines up next is Megatron!

As with Optimus I will now go over Ironhide's Vehicle mode's basis. Due to Ironhide always being one of the toughest Autobots (Brawn is physically stronger as in Ironhide can take a megaton explosion blast at point blank, Brawn can knock over a mountain like a earthquake with more force in a punch than a 9.0 quake) but he is also often depicted as being older than most other bots I mean being so tough in a war would mean you see a lot more battles. So I picked a perfect match to his name and toughness a Sentinel DG8 Steam Truck/Lorry. There is only one left in the world and as I was designing this sprite I talked with the man who restored the real one back to working order a Mister Richard Straughan and learned a lot about the way it was fired and maintained. To my surprise there really isn't too much in the way of metal in the design but there is enough to work with even Bay would be able to find enough mass in it to transform into a 16 footish bot.

Now I am starting a poll for Megatron and that will last till the 10th next month. It regaurds his colors as I am not sure which scheme of his predecessors I should base it on. G1, Animated, Prime, Ect you can vote over here.
