For 's request for more Bosami fanart.Bolin spotted Asami watching him while he was training outside in the park. Cookies to whoever recognizes the title.
Bolin deserves some lovin', too. And I personally think his best option is a girl who'll play hard to get. Which I think Asami would be.
Bolin's pose was tricky, and I'm not even sure I pulled it off, but oh well.
I found it pretty funny that in 99% of deviations with Asami, no one has colored in her boots.
Anyway, I decided to also use one of the other outfits she's shown in in the development sketches.
Asami and Bolin belong to Bryke.

I agree about the body variety. And I think Bolin´s body design is the greatest. He´s strong looking, but at the same time he seems chubby-like. So he´s like...muscular but not over the top XD
Which remeinds me, I should get back to my Bosami drawing...I was on a roll XD

He is what would be considered bara in the anime community.
Bolin's build is actually a lot more accurate to truly strong men in reality than the six-pack abs you see in other cartoons. Those are generally just for show (like bodybuilders and celebrities who don't do actual physical work) and have no significant strength behind them--unless they're runners or swimmers.

Although it´s true that by just comparing him to anime characters - Dragon Ball Z characters for example - he looks SO MUCH MORE NATURAL AND HEALTHY. Of course, I used an over the top example, but it gets the point across. XD
Besides, being in the economic failure him and Mako grew up in, I doubt there was any money left to spend on steroids (idk how to spell that XD)

But he absolutely looks more natural than anyone in DBZ, perfect example! They looked downright unhealthy sometimes...And he's not an exact clone of his brother, either, compared to how all the Saiyans basically looked alike.
And yeah, considering their economic situation, I'm surprised he's in such good shape. Mako must have really taken good care of him...maybe even to the detriment of his own health, considering how scrappy he seems in comparison.
And that's exactly how steroids is spelled.

The entire episode was great. The money scene, Bolin trying to help out his brother, Mako and Korra's adventure...I hope Bolin has learned his lesson, though.

Hm...now that you point that out, I wouldn't be surprised if both Korra and Bolin got into trouble of some sort and Mako had to go to Tenzin or Lin to get help.
But YES, he did! Thank goodness, too! I mean, Zuko had funny faces as well, but there were too few of them. The more humor the better!
Of course, I also just love the range of expressions everyone has had so far. We need more cartoons like that.

It really gives them personality, and at the same time there´s a lot of left over room for character development. Which is also fantastic...otherwise it´d be boring for them to stay the same throughout the show.
I agree, this is one of the few (if not the only) cartoons now a days that´s worth wacthing: it´s creative, captivating, funny, a little violent...and let´s not forget romantic XD

I really like the poses and Asami's indifference versus Bolin's... EXCITEMENT. 
My one note would be that if you start inking your lines on the characters, maybe just ink it all. It looks a little off (in my opinion) where only certain parts of them are inked. If you want to draw attention to those lines without ink, a really dark color pencil can go over those lines.
Overall, I really love this! The poses and expressions are fantastic and read really clearly!

Sooo glad the poses and expressions work! That's where my main focus always is.
I actually really hate putting in backgrounds, which is why they're usually so simplistic.
And yeah, I see what you mean by the inking. Unfortunately, the details which needed to be outlined were too tiny for me to go over with a pencil, so I just went with the pen. 
Also yeah, I've always had issues with shading/lighting. I just don't have the patience to give super dimensions.
