first attempt at a slave bracelet. mother of pearl, green adventurine, sterling silver.

it is so craptastic.

there are so many things wrong with it in practice, but i've figured out how to fix it. the ring bit is strung too tight and sized badly, but that will be corrected in future attempts since i've done it once. bracelet is too loose, therefore i'll trip base chain shorter in future and have an adjustable piece like on my other (so far) bracelets, complete with an accent bead. the chains down the hand are too short, and i wasn't thinking when i strung them TO the ring. but that will be remedied as well. i need a mannequin hand thing to make it on and smaller jump rings too.

HOWEVER, there are good bits. it worked, i can make them without blueprints. it's pretty, which is a plus and a selling point. but beyond that, my technique with jump rings has improved a billionfold, and my skills at making the little eyeloops is much better than it was. i still need practice, but it's coming along wonderfully.

future attempts will also improve as i expand my stock of chains. as it is i only have 3 types, and the only one not used here is in copped and will be used with turqoise.
