Something weird I scribbled one day and threw on my Tumblr. So basically around the same time early leaks of Mila was shown on the net, the FGC immediately compared her to the great and all powerful Brad Burns from Virtua Fighter over speculation of her fighting style. That, and she has this annoying infinite that;s easily abusable, so I put this together and uploaded it before the infinite gets patched out.[link]
The users over at Free Step Dodge surprisingly liked this, so I'm doing another one of these DoA5 parodies. About halfway done with the next one, but there are some backlogs and school assignments I'll have to attend to. Hope you DoA fans following me like this
By the way, I'm adding Mila onto my list of DoA mains now. She's so rad

Mila's fantastic XD
This comic was mainly done around the outdated speculation of Mila being a Brad Burns clone back when there was a leaked image of her floating around before she was even officially revealed. Even though that's been debunked, I still imagine The Mila Show every time I see her or Brad

I would have loved Brad to be in the game. The dialog along would be hilarious. Now that DOA has a new producer(who is a pretty cool guy and fixed the issues I had with the DOA series gameplay) who is respectful to VF I want them to do a VS game. Both have fairly small rosters compared to say Tekken so you could fit just about everyone. It would be awesome and entirely possible. Sarah Pai and Akira fit into the gameplay(I even recognized their moves from VF)

I've been crossing my fingers for a VFxDOA ever since I played VF5FS on release day. GOSH I love Virtua Fighter. That game is the raw essence of the word perfection. Definitely my #1 favorite fighter of all time, and I'm a massive fighting game enthusiast that plays fighters of all kinds whether it be 2D or 3D. Take a wonderful series such as VF and mash it with a series like DoA that's been my favorite since childhood and I'll definitely be looking forward to the coolest fighter ever so long as the mechanics are more like VF mixed with DoA's flashiness.
I use Akira practically nonstop in DoA5 and climbed my way to an S- Rank with him. The more I play, the more I wish they were able to find a way to port El Blaze and Lei-Fei over. Lei would definitely be interesting since his mixup options will make him a beast in that game

VF is a very solid game that needs more love here in the US. I would have loved to see Eileen in VF. Aside form monkey kung-fu being awesome and her mix up game is great and she is good at punishing mistakes...and she is my main in VF. Not sure my #1 fighter though and I am too a 2D and 3D fighting fan

This game definitely deserves more love. It's been so dismissed it's almost depressing. Thankfully SEGA's been supporting their game with annual tournament scenes. Spent my entire Saturday watching the 1st annual US SEGA Cup and it was one of the most hype streams I've ever attended. There's another SEGA Cup coming this August, so I'm hoping to check that out as well

It is not as popular mainly because it is not a flashy game at all. The game goes in a slightly more realistic so yeah less flash. The character designs are also more grounded they are less flashy(in more ways then one) so I guess it does not attract as much people. I just hope that the cross over with DOA5 will give the series more notice since without it grandfathering 3D fighters we would not have the 3D fighters

I would have gotten the game regardless since I'm such a hardcore DoA fanboy XD Kage, Jacky, Blaze, and Lei-fei would have been some awesome additions too, but I'm just fine using Akira over and over again

Brad in DoA5 would be epic. I never mained Brad since Akira, Lei-Fei, El Blaze, Kage, and Jacky ate up most of my time. But I always thought he was boss as a character. I find myself quoting him every few minutes or so

Something about keeping the game from exceeding some 2 gig limit for XBLA titles. So many amazing intro sequences and Quest Mode lost all because SEGA wanted to go digital .V.
But hey, I shouldn't complain for a fighting game that costs $15/$45 and still be better than SFxT

I know, right? And on top of all that, it was the game where Elena made her comeback. Aside from the weird mechanics and below average netcode, she just HAD to be DLC. EXPENSIVE DLC no less! And so many gamebreaking glitches being patched in and patched out, it just keeps me from wanting to play it again. They really done goofed

After the whole on disc debacle, I decided to get the game through pirating. And even then I felt robbed. I had some fun playing with the Tekken guys for a while, and I was hoping the modding scene would help keep my interest, but nope! Even the modders seem to be fed up with that game. I'm so scared, all of this Dark Stalkers teasing makes me worry that if we do get DS4, it'll be an abomination.

Yeah. Considering it's been rumored to run on a modified version of the SFxT engine, I can't help but be scared it would be a bug-ridden mess like SFxT was. I pretty much used Law and Jin as a team non-stop in that game, and I admit it was fun. But after a while, the gameplay grew stale and repetitive since I could hardly experiment with combo variety due to the damage dampening being such a major issue for me. Another peeve of mine is that there are hardly any stages in the game. 11 really doesn't seem like much for me since Tekken 6 and Virtua Fighter managed to deliver much more in that regard. Who knows? The new DS might be pretty good. But they'll just take advantage of their DLC scamming antics to continue ripping off their customers. Quite a shame, yet hilarious how Harada and Shimbori stood them up on how they handle DLC XD

Yeah, and even Team Ninja followed suit as well, with their weekly free dlc releases. It's kind of funny. People back in the day would go on about how Capcom would make the competition following in their ways, but now it seems they're making the competition take the opposite route. Which is great!
