where I live in Romania ALL girl names except carmen end in "a" (example: Ana, Andreea, Eugenia, Elena, Castilia, Landiana, Raluca, Diana, Iulia 8-|)
and in spanish there is also a thingy that girly things end in "a" and guy things end in "o"
