Bit of back story <3 please read if you feel like it

Pennyroyal in their young years worked in an Ice cream shop. At first they were over joyed to see people come an go smiles on their faces. Those moments would give him joy and make him smile, that is what he lived for his joy was joys of others simple pleasures. He loves making small talk with the customers learning what made them happy what their favorite flavors and colors were.
That was till one day he started to question what his joy really was. When he went home and night he would know he did not make a change, anyone could work as server, he was no different to the customers than the person standing next to him behind the counter. He was just a means to their own happiness, he was just a means to an end in their eyes. What he felt when he makes them happy was something anyone could do for them, his own happiness was hallow and fleeting.
He had to keep returning to work each day, the steps along the way becoming more painful each morning. Each Hello felt more dead on his lips than the last.
...He needed out, he needed a way. Something to strive for, to be something bigger than just a means to others happiness.

He cant let his past keep himself in a place he is no longer happy, to push forward to his new dreams is what will bring happiness. New interests and ambitions are what drive him forward, not letting his image or what other people expect of him keep him back. That is what set him free to find himself and happiness once again.

sorry i had to write a bit more onto the end i really did not want to end on such a sad note! there might be times when you feel lost, empty, lowly, and meaningless. but things will always get better! life is full of new adventures! if you are not happy where you are or what you have put your time into find your new inspiration! it might not show up right away but you will find it as long as you keep your mind open! each person has something amazing in them, so don't let rough times stop you forever.
