This young bean is based off of vernal pools which are often only found in spring to summer time. Growing up I lived near a few vernal pools myself, some of my most special memories were playing in and around vernal pools. Catching bugs and stomping though the water were some of my favored things!

Pod here is a like a minor forest guardian or spirit. They spend their time playing in, caring for, and protecting the vernal pools in their area. Because of this the Froog population has grown along with strengthened the ecosystem in the area. Pod is shy and will often shift into other forms to not be noticed by hikers that pass through the area. But of someone comes by often enough Pod might make an appearance.

Tod is their trusted Froog shaped companion. They love to be the center of attention, and prefers to be held expect when they can be in water.
