Description

Magical DD Moment *___*

I have been asked several times how I have made the Adventure Book for my Ellie Costume.

Because it is the 30. birthday of my cousin this Tuesday I thought it would be a good idea to make her a small Adventure Book about all the adventures we had, when we were small.

So I used this opportunity and took some photos to prepare this tutorial.

Parts of the Tutorial

Parts 1,2,3

If you enjoy the tutorial ... just try to make your own book and please show me the book when you are done.

Hi I love this, but where can I find bookbinding cover?

theres stuff for book binding called "mull" which you use instead of making tape. it kind of looks like gauze.

Herzlichen GlΓΌckwunsch zu deiner DD . Ich liebe deine ZahnlΓΌcke. Das erinnert mich total an meine Kindheit und die ganzen Astrid Lindgren BΓΌcher die ich damals gelesen habe

What kind of paper would you recommend using to fill the inside of the book?

This is really clear and nicely done

One tip though that is far safer than using a drill to make the holes: use the hole punch thing for making the holes for belts and for eyelets like: [link] or [link] or the tool that comes in the box with the eyelets

Thanks for the tip :3. I also have got such a tool, but unfortunately the bookbinding cardboard I used is too thick for using it ... I have already killed one of these "punchers", so the drill method had been the best for myself, although I really would have killed my fingers if I made the holes using a knife or my scissors.

You know, I did that once... Ya know, hurt my finger while trying to punch a hole in a Christmas carol leaflet with a pair of scissors.
Be glad you avoided that pain.

I see - haven't run into that issue myself with making books, might be the thickness of the cardboard used.
