Still suck at coloring and shading. Like the sketch better.Also it needed something so I gave it bubbles. Clearly it was not what it needed.

Looks very vibrant with the coloring. If I could suggest something other than bubbles, hmmm. Polka dots? That's probably too similar,but if you'd like variety in the BG, I'd first try experimenting with scattering dots of different colors and see if they look nicer than bubbles. If not, maybe just a plain white background will do. Keep it simple.

The reason I picked bubbles is 'cause we sell catnip bubbles at the petstore I work at. I thought they were funny.
Also I didn't separate layers the way I usually do, so testing out different backgrounds without effing up the picture.
