Whoo!! Lady got back to the tablet, at long last
Last week, all throughout the week, since my commission workload has eased off a bit, I could finally afford to take a little time in the mornings to start drawing again <3...And boy, was I doing stuff
Don't know about the coloring, but it does seem to be a lot more fun than before ;D And, of course, like with anything I do art-related, Aurora was my first subject.
Since I'm at this point in Kousei Bengonin, and where my thoughts have been for a while now, I decided to center them around her enrollment at the Shino Academy (with her peekaboo hairstyle she keeps until graduation >3<)
Most of them were just doodles that I decided to finish (well, best of my abilities, anyway
) Some are older, some were sketched on actual paper then scanned in... The rest were done just for this collection in SAI <3It's hard to pick a favorite, but I love the one with her Hell Butterfly (she's very attached to her little one, and has kept her for many, many years~) That, and the fantasy bubble at the bottom
Was a pleasure to do that one~Hopefully, there will be more to come

True, dat~ As diligent as I try to be with commissions... sometimes a break to work on personal stuff is necessary, if only to maintain some sort of sanity

It's the best way to getting an even better impression of Aurora and her feelings in different situations like...imagining what Shunsui and Ukitake are doing when she isn't looking.
