Description

An idea theorized to fly behind and alongside early WW2 bomber types (eg. lancaster, B17, ect) in fairly short numbers to serve a roll in forcing of enemy fighters from an easy approach upon bomber formations. Main considerations would be long distance capabilities, minor cargo probably reserved for ammo and most importantly heavy armaments that outweigh those in the standard bomber, in this case i have designed the top of the craft to hold a fore and aft 20mm anti air cannons. There is also a lower aft twin .50 machine gun to protector its arse of which a later redesigns could see gone and replaced with surveillance capabilities, creating a surveillance craft capable of self defence.
