Description
This is actually inspired on an RP/AU idea I had a week ago.Basically, Pit would've died after ((Spoiler if you haven't played/completed Uprising??)) saving Dark Pit.
A couple of years would've passed, and Pit would've been reborn as a little human boy. Dark Pit gets angry at mankind and believes it was their fault Pit died, so he pretty much goes on a killing spree, but eventually, he'd meet reborn Pit, who recognises him and runs up to him, hugging him tightly.

Actually, Dark Out would die since he's a mirrored copy of Pit. He explained in the game that during the Pit's spirit was inside a ring, that he himself was unconscious, because he and Pit have a link between each other. If Pit dies, so does Dark Pit.
Though, since Pit is reborn, that would explain why Dark Pit is alive as well.

That... is one hell of a fascinating idea! I would be VERY interested in a fic with that as the premise. I've always found the idea of a friendship (or something more XP) that transcends lifetimes a really interesting one. Even though the reincarnated does not remember their friend, they still feel that connection and are drawn to them.
In fitting with his personality, perhaps Dark Pit refuses to accept the boy as Pit's reincarnation. If all you've know for years is anger, hate, and pain, the chance that you might be able to find happiness can be absolutely terrifying, as the fear that you'll just lose that joy all over again will be a dominant force in one's mind. Oftentimes, it just seems a lot easier to continue living as you have been than risk being hurt further by taking a chance at happiness.
Also, a very adorable picture. I love the look of utter confusion on Dark Pit's face as human Pit hugs him, and the little touch of having Pit be standing on his tip-toes really goes a long way to showing just how young the reincarnated Pit is.

Problem is, Dark Pit would've died if Pit died. XD Two sides of the same coin, no? 
But that's a pretty good roleplaying plot.

I actually thought of that the moment I started roleplaying this with a friend of mine.
But, perhaps if Pit's soul instantly got 'recycled', to use the game's words, then we wouldn't have that problem, right? The soul would've stayed intact (Thank Palutena Hades wouldn't have eaten it--), so Dark Pit shouldn't be dead. Maybe in a coma, like when Pit's soul got trapped in that ring.
