What? Rui was not a fish? But her eyes were spaced so far apart... Oh well. Wes is my favorite non-Pokemon character from Pokemon. He's got a Badass Longcoat, a ridiculously Rule Of Cool "motorcycle", has the best intro of any protagonist in the series, and he's a lefty. Also, it was nice to play as someone who's older than 10 for once. I mean, really.

I'm still waiting for GS to make a sequel to XD with Wes in it (I'd even like a cameo like the one Red had in G/S) but then they go and make Pokemon Battle Revolution... *sigh* Even if the shadow Pokemon games weren't well liked by many they were still leagues better than PBR.

Ranting/raving aside, I think this plushie turned out okay given my noobishness at making clothes and my lack of experience making this sort of plushie. The clothes were actually the easy part. The eyes are what gave me trouble. It's hard to make scary yellow eyes cute so I had to go through 10+ designs. I eventually decided to go with a design somewhat resembling this (probably bootleg but adorable) Cloud plushie I got off of Ebay.
