Beautiful but very sad artwork. I stared at this for a while... it's fascinating how much emotion you show by the dragon's grief and the whole composition and positions of the woman and the rider.

At first I had trouble figuring out where the dragon's scales end and where clothing begins, but that's just my eyesight and one property of monochrome
I love the grieving face of the dragon, like anger and sorrow at the same time
