Personality: Jude is immature, overconfident, and competitive. He doesn’t view his actions being mean and has no cruel intentions (though he does get a kick out of watching other people’s reactions). Deep down he's a good person but would probably fight you to prove that he's not. No one expects much from the bad guy, right?

History: Jude’s mother was a mightyena and his father a manectric. They had met in a big city during high school and married soon after – having a family almost instantly. Jude and his older sister were just toddlers when his father was transferred up north to correct the wind turbines near Snowport. Most of the people there were laborers working in the oil fields so Jude’s family was considered upper class. His three younger siblings were born in the snowy village. He was his parent’s only electrike and jealous of his siblings’ dark abilities that they shared. He was plagued by the dry air that lead to electrical issues nearly everywhere he went. Not only was the air quite statically charged and volatile, but the buildings were also made primarily with heavy metals because of their stability and fire resistance in the harsh snow storms. Sparks were always jumping from his body and shorting out circuitry - causing flickering lights, faulty electronics, and bad hair-days.
Jude was not good friends with any of the local children because of their aversion from his static. He spent a lot of time alone back in those days, fighting off other kids who were angry with him for accidentally shocking them. However, not every living thing disliked him. His parents owned a few plusles and minuns in the basement that Jude would care for religiously. They never cared if he shocked them and he liked having someone depend on him rather than the other way around.
Eventually he found a snorunt girl who was willing to tolerate his static long enough to develop a relationship with him. That was when things changed for him and he started getting a huge head about things. He no longer felt left out from things – instead, he felt like he was better than them. The snorunt girl left him once his attitude changed but it didn't really matter to him because he was attracting other girls.
His high school years flew by like that; with him besting anyone who tried to fight him and going through girls like clothing – not that there were all too many girls in the village. In fact, by the time he had evolved into a manectric he had dated half the girls within his age group and the other half hated his pompousness. Speaking of hating his attitude, his family wasn't too fond of it either. His mother was worried and his father was pushing him to get a job. Also, after he’d graduated, he dated high school girls for a couple years. Finally, his father was so fed up with him that he told he handed his son a rucksack and a one-way ferry ticket, telling him he’d have to learn what physical labor felt like and that they'd already spent his college savings. On a ranch. The ticket was for the rural farming islands of Raccolto.
Well, Jude was none too pleased with his family and resolved to leave on his own terms – saying he was leaving to get away from his parents rather than the other way around. This was also probably a good thing seeing as he was a bit of an embarrassment to his family around the village; the guy who dated high schoolers and lounged around at home all day playing video games or whatever.
