A loud ringing is heard through out your house as you laze around on the couch, easily recognizable as your doorbell. Curiosity strikes through your mind as you stood to go answer it. Who would be over at this time? Last time you checked, you didn't have any plans for visitors... Answering the door reveals nothing but a decently sized box on your welcome mat...

You spend the next few seconds looking back and forth on your porch, but no one seems to be in sight. Maybe just some teens ding-dong ditching your house, so funny of them to do so... Regardless of the reason, inspecting the package further shows nothing on the outside, no labeling for who it could be from or what company could've used this box. Curiosity grows in the back of your mind, enough to where you feel the urge to shake the box, which seems quite filled despite the lack of rattling from any possible thing that could've been within it. Something clearly was taking up the entirety of this box, knowing that made your interest grow even further... You simply HAD to take the box inside now, opening it outside could leave you so exposed to anyone who was there, it could've been anything in there after all!

You quickly pick up the box, which proves to be somewhat of a challenge, and take it inside your home, where you set it on your table with as much haste as before. The package was clearly sealed up, opening something like this was no issue for you though, a short trip to your room's drawer yielded a box cutter that quickly diced through the packages top. You could feel your heart racing just slightly from the excitement of this package which felt like a gift now, though that vital organ quickly drops as soon as you open it as you notice how strange its contents are... It looks like a... grey, vibrating liquid? Hundreds of questions quickly popped in and out of your head within seconds, but the longer you stood staring, the faster the liquid seemed to move... Outwards? Y-YES IT DID!

The liquid practically GREW towards you as you quickly jumped backwards from it, although you didn't seem to be fast enough... Just a small strand of it landed on your shirt, but you could feel it straining against your clothes as it tried pulling you back to the table! More strands began jumping their way out of the box and decided it would be best to make home on your new shirt, its strength quickly overwhelming you and pulling you back to the table now, your head lingering right above the gooey box... No time was wasted and your face was invaded by a large mass of that goo, quickly blinding you as you felt it spread faster across your and clothes too... It was oddly smooth and cool... A strange detail to want to recount of.

This thought was set aside for the moment as the only other thing you could do was pull yourself back with as much strength as you could! Not much distance was gained, and seemed like it was punished by more goo coating your limbs and forcing your body right back to the box streaming out the goo... You could feel your body being overwhelmed by the mass, as it simply kept growing and spreading across you... It felt oddly pleasant, a mix between the coolness and strange sensations of it wiggling across your bloating body making your resistance to it weaken as seconds pass you by...

It felt quite nice indeed, like sliding into a pool during the summer's heat... The thick substance coating your mind eased you even further, as your whole body just wanted to relax now... Not that was a bad thing, right? Resistance to something that felt so cool and relaxing was just plain stupid, right? You'd never do that if you were sitting in a pool, so why do it now? Don't be rediculous, and just give in to it it... You know you wanted to, but something inside your mind just had to resist...

But what even was it? Your memories seemed a bit hazy, but nothing you DO remember gives you a reason to resist... Maybe you're just feeling a little off?
