On a side note, the clouds are amazing, the sunset is amazing, and I'm not quite sure what to say about the weird cloud-things above the sun (do you know what they are? It looks like jets flew through them or something...). You're taking these out of an airplane window? All of mine that I've tried turned out like....bad.
Sigh...I'll keep trying. And you keep taking awesome picture.

It's very strong, very emotional. I can't really critique it, as all the factors are, once again, beyond your control. I might recommend that in future you try for a centered shot like this, and then an off-centre shot. An uneven shot can convey a completely different artistic level.

What exactly do you mean by saying "off-centre" shot.. a shot without the sun as the main focus?

I like the sun focus, but it's perfectly in the centre of theimage which naturally leads the eyes to neglect the surroundings. You move the focus ever so slightly from the centre and the eyes try to correct, taking in the surrounding images as well.

Wow, a lovely sea of clouds with your sunset! I like this cos instead of the normal, sea, then sunset, then a few clouds you've got - a sea of clouds followed by the sun setting followed by all the plane strips in the air! Incredible, lovely picture though!! I believe that is a favourite of mine now...

No.. just flying occasionally because I got to use the plane going from my boarding school back home.. 1 hour flying and I do this every three weeks

Sieht sehr schön aus. Wie in einem Märchen... "Schnee beladene Wolken zocken über das Reich der Feen, bald würde es schnein, und mit dem schnee kam Veränderung."
Natürlich muss mann dann weiter erzählen um die Sonne noch mit einzubeziehen.
Aber es ist wirklich ein sehr sehr schönes Bild.
Wie kommst du immer über die Wolken um so geile Aufnahmen zu machen?

As always, your skyscapes are amazing.
The depth of colour and tonal range is awesome. These certainly are your "signature pics" in my book.
The image is almost dreamlike, but real, ...like you can reach out and swirl your hands around in the wispy clouds or dip them into the denser clouds in the bottom of the frame. Great shot!
