The fire inside

I needed to feed the beast. It was trapped just under the skin. Its heat was all I could feel any more. Like silk, It move smoothly anywhere it wanted to in my body. It wanted out, but not yet. The beast bided its time well. It was in no rush. Beasts don't rush, they hunt and strike. Swift and clean. It could wait a little longer, but I am not sure I could. Instincts that were not mine, course down my nerves. Muscles responding to a control that I could not put my finger on. Not that I would go looking for it in myself, if I poked the beast it would rip me apart. Not physically mind you, but emotionally. I think I could stand the violence and the blood. but the emotional attack was just too scary to think about. No, I need to feed the beast. and soon.

The beast liked fire. I wouldn't think it would, but my beast loved fire. I'd see a candle burning or a fireplace, and a little bit of my being would shift and I 'd feel like i was wearing fur under my own fur. Transfixed by the shimmering light it would swirl around my core, excited. people would ask me why I stopped and stared at fire, but all I could answer with was a hungry smile. I like when the beast saw fire. The feel of silky fur under my skin.

I didn't know what kind of beast it was, just that it was furry, strong and had yellow eyes right behind mine. It saw everything I saw, but interpreted it differently than I. It would see passion and longing where I saw discomfort and humiliation. I didn't understand it, but then I didnt have too. It would get what it wanted when enough heat built up.

The beast found it's muse soon after I meet Ms Kassandra.

I was working at a diner and going to college for a business degree. She came in, looked at the "please wait to be seated" sign, and just took the best table by the window. She took off her sunglasses and flashed her eyes at me. Fire! I saw fire in her eyes. I was so use to seeing dead eyed yokels that I took a step back. She saw it as the tell it was. I couldn't take my eyes off hers. She meet my gaze the whole time. Somewhere in that time I think I said something about a special, but I 'm not sure.

All I remember is saying "please". A couple of seconds when by and she smiled. Then the damnedest thing. she said "I'll have the coffee to go and yes...". Yes! ?! The beast bit me low and hard. I swallowed hard and it took everything I had to leave that table and those eyes.

She left with a coffee to go, a beast and me. Its been 10 years and I have never looked back. My beast gets to feed quite often, I finished college, and handle the books of a fetish retreat. All in all, my beast did well for me.
