Drawing Anecdotes
Here PMBO with another traditional art, this time focusing on a scenical shot!. Still quite enthusiastic about my One piece oc's, again tackling Pinkbeard's lineage

In this artwork though more than show something very relevant to Pinkbeard's father and daughter story; I'd desired just to portray my like for some artists, references and inspirations!. The best I found they catalogue it being "Orientalism style"
I as well to, by force desired doing a broken perspective like if opened this room like both a gum doll house.

The art from both Jean-Léon Gérôme and Rudolph Ernst, along  this Twitter artist named Moe whose art probably germinate on me a like for middle east pre-contemporary ages! 😼😸

And my second inspirations that totally lead me to desire made an artwork evocative of it, was the epic of gilgamesh. To get to know a bit more about the tale thanks approaching the archaeomusicology of Peter Pringle.

The song by the first table opening his tale , and it's primordial first lyrics that encarved on me the absolute melancholy of the human stay on earth. That I could swear you that even trought emotional chants, humans and it's brothers have been vocalizing their feelings for likely half a million of years. The epic of Gilgamesh and everything of this that I'd call, the age of the things we could preserve and understand, it's fairly recent.

The Pinkbeards have arrived to homage that is the new 12th king of Alabasta, King Cobra!
They have come to made for their work, document the history of this kingdom. During this time they were on a expedition on parallel with Nico Olivia to learn of the Poneglyphs.

Still though, just like we've seen on the future, Cobra zealous of the contents of their Poneglyph, and his beliefs that better to such information not come into light, didn't show such information to them.
Might leaving this precedent of researchers on the island before Crocodile give him even more care on how to obtain Pluton successfully, from the power to the knowledge needed.

And now, that traveler coming in!. That's a new character I wanted to introduce already, he named Celebi, Pinkbeard's V greatest friend. From the same kingdom the minor character Suleiman must be from.
He being a traveler that explored thousands of islands and went all trought to Wano on the new world (He arrived on a time gap between Oden leaving the country and Orochi obtaining power) inspired by two middle east travelers; Ibn Battuta and Evliyá Çelebí.

The reason he arrived despite being coming back from a long trip of the New world being thanks another opportunistic meeting Pinkbeard had. Peony basically he's godson !.
Time before reaching Alabasta he'll meet him, Peony now being a bounty hunter around Paradise, pledging him a favor to aid for his friend Celebi to come by Arabasta.

All of this while still not telling her daughter (Her daughter wasn't with her, telling her orally would have been lesser hype), she considers Peony an uncle, for many years they traveled together and Peony basically raised her along his father. That's why her wholesome surprise face by seeing Peony coming in!

Oh, and that big duck of the likes of Karoo by the side of Peony!. He's was a lone Alabasta Duck which born featherless on the head like a vulture, Peony adopted him and made him a Dilophosaurus helmet for it to felt cooler 😺

I've already thought that perhaps, might tackle a new grand artwork like on my "Crumbs of love" with A3 paper, and this time do drawing the Strawhats, that surely my One piece fever hadn't ended!.

There is also quite the easter eggs on this drawing, especially on my wonky hieroglyphics!
