Here's PMBO with half a piece for a take on the line of Scyther!

Drawing Anecdotes
Lately I've been dragged by interest in the realistic Pokemon artworks around the site, especially from Arvalis
So encouraged to make my own take, here's my realistic Scyther!

Guess explaining it a bit, I took the buggy path, sticking to an praying Mantis and flying mantises in general!
Being this Scyther a quick and strong Pokemon of lightweight and capable fly over the ground, they are appreciated among bug enthusiast trainers

By size, I thought of 96,5/56cm for females and 70/43cm for males (Biggest and smallest adults), and that bug catcher it's super short kid. He got as well a grumpy wurmple

In the wild, they are much more threatening, although in a world full of more beastly creatures they have the tools to defend themselves, I like to think populations of Scyther try to occupy a single biome so be sure no super-carnivores get inside said biome. Otherwise if the ambient it's way to competitive, they evolve into a Scizor , a more well fitted with their region but scarce in population

Might just they've feel threatened by red colors, but I let that as they fear of the man Pokeball and fire types, their biggest weakness. But also, their shiny comrades.

As well I also found interest in the reptilian take of Scyther, and perhaps might I draw it someday since I got ideas for meanwhile drawing this; Like a microraptor Pokemon within a bug like camouflage just like Laurantis, so get along other bug Pokemon and eat them
