Here's PMBO in resume with my realistic Pokemon, in the meantime of my next grand digital artwork, an idea itching me since a while with Sigilyph!

Drawing Anecdotes
As inspirations for this idea, I took all of it's tale and folklore from Nazca culture and puebloans from southwestern Usa. In Sigilyph case, being the mysterious remains of a long gone civilizations, whose in their peak time, really witnessed this Pokemon in life.
And by Sigilyph biological side, I took references of hummingbirds in general and especially with the Giant hummingbird and the "Unexpected european humminbird" (Eurotrochilus inexpectatus)

When both professors Sinder (Left) and Quinda (Right) started a new campaign with a long gone civilization, in middle of their research the team find themselves with many depictions of gradiying qualities of an bird type Pokemon, the most hightlitable being their hardened clay sculptures still retaining it's supposed bright colors, following in the next years more similar depictions of it on Unova and Kalos

It was gathered scholars from other regions to find out what the identity of this Pokemon, posing their hypotheses; from depictions of Xatu, Mandibuzz or perhaps the evidence of the lineage of Archen living longer to recent human days.
It was after many months of research, enough information was gathered to have a confident view of how this Pokemon might have looked in life, naming it Sigilyph

Being quite small pokemon growing up to 14cm and with little sexual dimorphism over it's plumage. Being nectivorous Pokemon, it feed on the nectar of a hand of flowers and plant type Pokemon. Living on the regions of Hoenn, Unova and Kalos, however decreasing in population presumably attached for a decrease of their source of food, until apparently become extinct with it's last found remains in Kalos not over 3000 years ago

Although it's for sure this Pokemon had contact with the people back on time, it was certainly an Pokemon unkeptable for training yet is know both humans in Kalos and Unova grown quite fond of this dwindling Pokemon
