Yeah in a way it does. Its probably because of the way the paint is smeared on. I would love to experiment with encaustic. Its probably expensive though.

sure it is, but you can find the materials and supplies in many stores, where ain't very expensive. For the wax, I use wax for candles.

oh wow. Doesn't it matter what type of wax you use? Especially with chemicals that are used in the candle.

I guess it doesn't, beacuse the wax I bought, was produced in a traditional handicraft. And the sellers told me that it could be used for anything.
