Description Some quick pencil sketches for practicing skulls from different angles. I think they came out a little evil looking, wasn't intended. At least they look kinda happy, not sure why they would be though, since they're dead.

I ;ove these skulls an exercise I have done a few as well and yes the look evil I will post them later do you have any hints on a scanner read your tutorial i like it bob

Thanks! The only advice I can give on a scanner is get one big enough to fit the paper. I have to photograph most of my drawings because they don't fit.

SKULLS!!!!! I know why these skulls are happy- they know that everyone living will be joining them soon!! That, and they don't have to worry about paying the rent, cause they're dead. Did you use photo references for these sketches, or do you just have skulls stashed in strategic locations around the house? Say, on your desk, the mantlepiece, bookshelves, etc.?

I'd like to have a real skull to practice from. I wonder where I can dig one up, I mean find one. I do have a Halloween skull sitting around, but the proportions are a little off, so I drew these from a book.
