I decided to take this picture, because well i have a chessboard in my room and it seemed like a gud opportunity and because it seemed quite a creative thing to do.Related content

I love this one! It reminds me of another chess shot I have in my favourites, except the lack of colour makes them look like ice sculptures. Gorgeous!

Great perspective and contrast achieved. There's that creepy executive feel to it that compliments the style of gameplay in cless. I thin this picture illustrates much of the characteristics of the game as a result. Love the highlights as a finishing touch the photo. On a last note I just got the feeling that a war is going to begin, just seeing fron this angle and the way the pieces are facing you get that ense. Well done.

I was once told that if you create something, or create an idea, and then you find out that it has already been done, it just proves (or shows) that its a good idea!
I've had the same thing happen a couple of times. I wanted to create a set of 'Alice in wonderland' playing cards in a photographic way and one day i went to the art gallery and found that man ray had already created something similar, with a single "Queen of Spades" ( i think spades).
Also, everything has already been done once, it just means that it is your own version of it.

lol thanks for the comment, but i have to disagree slightly. I mean i've seen lots of chess pictures, mostly after i posted mine. But im not saying its original. Cos i know its not, but i think the angle and height is different to other compositions. Usually there from an above view or the side. I think mine has its own uniqueness.
