Lighting is impressive, but it takes a long time (about 6 hours) to complete render

Yes, lighting is very efficient - just one 35W electric bulb 
Materials for lamp were used from Octane's Live DB, with some adjustments (transmission at least). Other items are freebies from Renderosity.
