Welp, I tried to do watercolors with SAI, I hope it turned out okay. ;w;Cause I like it for my first try~
So yea, my guinea pig for this was Kyoko.
And yes, she is a hamster. I have an odd thing with turning characters into hamsters as I have discovered.

This looks really good! Especially for a first try.
If I might say so, on the spots that are highlights, having it be white like it is seems like it made some of the pixels a bit obvious. I've never worked with SAI watercolors, but maybe a very light version of the colors their highlighting might help make that a little less apparent? or even just softening those edges with a different brush afterwards.

I was just messing around with a tutorial I found though I didn't use the same settings as they did. Maybe if I ever decide to mess around with this again I can try what you suggest!

Fair enough! I've seen a bunch of those tutorials around and just haven't ever given them a shot, so I can only imagine how much touch-and-go working with it is. But alright. :3 I definitely think you should give it another shot if you feel like it, 'cause this first attempt honestly seems pretty great.
