Description
While tagging along to find this legendary beast, Nymph was babbling to her twin of how their does these funny things. Finally having enough of her sister's boasting Clover decided to yell at her to shut up and stop talking. She didn't want to hear anymore of how her father favored her while her own mother didn't give her much time since she was dealing with her aunts. Tears streaming from both of them, Clover ran deep into the forest. Nymph, now having a small fear of her younger twin, ran back to the tower not talking to anyone about what had upset her.
----
So yea, not everything is peachy-keen with Fletch and his family. Thus starts the beginning of Clover sneaking off from the tower by herself.

This is extremely well done, if you ask me. A lot of attention to detail as well. The inclusion of the "epic speed lines" as I put it around the border helps add to the intensity of the image.
The facial expressions are very well done too, going as far as paying attention to eyes (large and slit for the anger, small and timid for fear) and the ear positioning (perked up and towering for our aggressor, while submissive and low for our poor victim.)
The shading and addition of the anime-esc darkened areas also help enhance this further. Up front and horizontal for the "death glare" while across the head and vertical for being intimidated.
I really enjoy this picture simply because you can tell so much effort and detail was put into this whole picture, and not just parts. Even the semi transparent pattern overlay helps to add uneasiness and tension to the viewer. Bravo. A very marvelous work.

Funny thing is, I did no actual shading on the characters.

Fletch is kinda a bad dad. He doesn't know how to handle two kids, you can't blame him.
