I've noticed... these measures keep being put to increase the amount of surveillance on individuals without there being a correspondingly similar amount of pressure to increase the transparency of corporations or the government.

I've come to the realization that there isn't anything wrong with Capitalism or Democracy (That last one is a no shit anyways) because, as we all know, every government and economic system is "perfect" on paper, but what creates the problem is people. More specifically the society, as a whole, that those people make up. Corruption, greed and injustice are social norms. We avoid confronting the needs and corruption of others, cover our shame up with morale guidance from religion and other bullshit philosophies to make us feel better, then blind and deafen ourselves with ignorance and in that ignorance we find complacency. If you want any system to work, people MUST care.

I'm right here with you. I live down in Texas, and some of my "off the grid" relatives are having issues getting water because they are situated in an area near the springs up in Arkansas whose water they use to survive. The water, being part of a federal park, is being shut off.

That's terrible I feel bad for them after all water is not a right it is a nessity (pardon my crappy spelling), I honestly think that is bull the land might be federal but water being goverment property is like the government saying we're going to tax people for breathing:\ I mean seriously people, *sigh* but what are we to officals but numbers on paper.

I figured you would enjoy that notification, other countries are talking about following suit and rumor has it that a delegation in the U.N. will be addressing the Monsanto. Not sure how true that last bit is, but still, I must say, GAME ON, AMERICA.
