frax hd proOK, many of you folks will recognise this as being the same as my 'All My Hopes', piece. Β This is the Fire and Ice colour version as specially requested by XXXelgekoXXX hope you like this version too Gerhard

That's a lovely comment, thank you. I made that in Frax on iPad and it's easy to import photos etc to create your own gradients and program is easy to use to adjust lighting and textures

Ya it looks like alot of fun, i might have to grab it for my mac, i dint have an iphone or anything crazy..But the mapping is what caught my eye, i wonder if they will release there mapping formula later, id love to see what that could do in ultra fractal. What ya did could be done, you would jsut have to be insanely good with putting your shading and bright oints near some transparency marker. I hope you play with that program, its mid range not all unweildly like MB3d, like photoshop light with a kick..

yeah i had in past downloaded UF and (bit like when i first tried MB) panicked! scared by it looking complex and working with layers...

This to me looks so lovely - more like a finely detailed painting rather than a fractal. The cold and hot color really makes this one a stand-out. Very nicely done!

Thank you. I actually googled fire and ice and found a great image that I used for colour map in Frax to get the vblue and red in same fractal
