At the size she is in these, her back wouldn't be smooth like that. She'd have some backfat, maybe some rolls happening there. Sometimes you can wear things to smooth it out, but a backless or shoulderless dress like that would show something around where it starts.
(I admit too, I may be a little biased. My significantΒ other is super insecure about her backfat and she's basically shaped like this but with a little more belly and a little less booty/thighs. Backfat is something that is constantly shown in media to be something that needs to be smoothed out or generally a flaw in chubby/fat women, and I think some cutely-drawn representation would help with that perception...)

i struggle drawing fat in certain areas (chin, back and sometimes even thighs) but critiques and close watching eyes are always helpful!Β
I hope to get better at drawing back fat as the year progresses because I think it would make her body seem more realistic despite being a drawn character.
