Description ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN WOOT WOOT

This was actually in the works ever since December, but I actually forgot about it fairly recently lol

This is my first time actually animating and I learned a lot from it.  There are some things that I would fix but I'll save that knowledge for future projects.  But yeah, hope you enjoy!

Aw how did you make it so smooth ;-;

Lots of in-between frames, my friend.  The more frames it has per second, the smoother the animation becomes.

To be honest, I'm a beginner myself and still learning.  But I'll give whatever advice I can!

This advice is for traditional frame by frame animation.  If you're using flash, I'm afraid I don't have any experience in that and I can't help you there.

Animation is a long and hard but a very rewarding process.  You have to draw multiple frames in between the actions in order to create the illusion of movement.  However, if done right, you'll be amazed at the results!

Keep your characters simple!  Believe me, if you animate characters with tons of details, you will hate yourself.

For programs, I used FireAlpaca, a free drawing program that just recently added an animation feature, but there are probably better programs out there.  I know that Photoshop and ToonBoom are the industry standard, but they can get expensive.  If you're using it for hobby purposes, then Firealpaca can work.  However, it doesn't yet have a feature that allows you to export your animations into videos or gifs though.  I suggest doing a bit of research into programs.

If you have any more questions like what the process is for animating, then don't hesitate to ask!

I think I let you know that I work whit my tablet because I dont have combuter or labtop.

You can export any frames you make as separate images and use an online gif maker to combine them all together.  Another method I recall a friend of mine doing is drawing them all on paper and taking images using a stop motion app on the tablet.  You may want to consider that?

Another thing when you're animating a motion that you can do is sketch out the main actions really small.  Do multiple in different angles and motions.  Then all you have to do is pick out the version that you like the best and go from there.

But yeah good luck to you!
