Description
This is a castle in ruins in the town of Machecoul, Brittany, France.It was the castle of Gilles de Rais, Marshal of France and knight who lived at the XV's century. In 1430 he try to deliver Jeanne d'Arc, imprisoned by English but fail. In 1435, Gilles de Rais start to beacome crazy. He withdraw in this castle and start to organise murders, sorcery and sexual game with children before burn them in his chimney. He was hanged and burn in 1440, in the city of Nantes for these crimes.
