Yeeup! I started this off as ten separate traditional sketches, then I scanned them all, shrunk them down to the proper size, and finally turned it into pixel art.

Thanks! (they actually look better closer up but I didn't want this to be too big so) Yeah, I noticed that... It seems like they don't actually draw much stuff, and that they use bases. But I didn't really look that much, I kinda just glanced over their gallery a couple times.
But dang it I don't buy adopts unless I intend to use 'em, no mindless adopt purchasing here (not that I'd even have the points to do that ).

Yeah. I thought about not letting him buy it because he didn't ever use his adopts, but if I never see him use it I'll probably give the points back. To me, mindless adopting is point-less. (<----hahahurhurr punnnsss)

I was just thinking how if I made adopts (I kinda want to, but I'm entirely sure I'd be any good at it), and I made one I really liked the design of, I might set a rule that you can't just buy it and not use it. Then, if someone offered for it, I'd probably check their account first to make sure they're not one of those people that hoards adopts for some reason and hardly uses any of them, if at all. I really don't understand why someone would do that, but apparently people do.

I think you'd be good at adopts! You just have to let your creativity flow (which, even I don't do often.) If you made one you really liked, then I'd just keep it. It's kinda weird how I went ahead and let him buy the fox, which is very unlike me. Normal me would've said, "You never use any of your adopts." I don't know what I was thinking. Are you gonna use all your adoptees from Flip? Perhaps you can use them in this new world with Veevee in it (just a thought.)

Heh, thanks. I just feel like I'd be kinda slow with 'em, especially if I only wanted to do it as a side project. I'd still mainly want to do non-profit art stuff. I actually have two different ideas for a series of adopts, but it's kinda hard to get the ideas on paper. I dunno if I'd really use my own adopts, so I'm not sure I'd make any for myself. But I might... I dunno. I was thinking if I could do an okay job of drawing some of them, I might post some concept art of them in my Scrapbook and ask for opinions. Ah, yeah... I guess it might've just been a lapse of judgement, eheh.

Oh yeah, definitely. I'm working on the reference sheet for the first one; I just wanted to finish my animation of Vespera first. I don't think I'll have them in the same universe/world as Vespera (although I did think of more characters that would belong in that universe, I gotta work on their pictures too, and maybe do a proper ref sheet for Vespera). I guess they just live in Stumpland, although I don't know a whole lot about it right now.

(super-over-a-month-late reply) Yeah, same here. I'm not that good at coming up with incredibly original designs, either. Still, I have considered making an account exclusively for adopts. Ohh ,gotcha! I can't wait to see it! Okay. I wasn't sure. Though it would be interesting if Vespera lived in the same world as Stumps, but that's just me, you know?

I stumbled upon that accidentally but I still think scraps deserve the same attention as official submissions because it hurts their feelings

Animation is another one of those things I want to do but must wait because school :/   just two more days and I can live like a normal person again

I ended up having to look it up :P I guess most people would watch someone for their best-quality works and not their unfinished stuff, but others (like meh) like to see WIPs and such. But I guess I'm in the minority

I mean, I don't think the in-class courses are as labor intensive as the online stuff that I'm doing right now so if you aren't looking to stick to the computer 7-10 hours a day then I'd avoid them
