Another concept for World of Teeth.

This heavy-set herbivore is a walking fortress; slow and sluggish, but well protected by extensive armor of bone and horn. The tail club is covered in sharp keratin spikes to increase its effectiveness as a weapon. While the solid core can shatter bones, the spikes increase the odds of rupturing internal organs. Because of this, very few predators would be foolhardy enough to challenge a fully-grown Zuul. As a tradeoff, the Zuul lack speed and agility compared to lighter-built herbivores. They tend to keep to themselves, often hidden in thickets of forest, spending the minimal amount of energy they need to survive and often staying put for extended periods of time.
