Description
She brought her hands up as if in prayer.Β Β Her thoughts raced, as they always did. However, today had an air of drowsiness, which not only affected her body, but her mind. Rocking back and forth in her chair with the uneven legs, she wondered what made it possible for matter to touch and not blend into one, which is what seemed to be happening with every passing second of the day, which brought upon the feeling of borderlne wakefulness, or borderline dreaming. The words that danced lazily across her mind were the only things keeping her awake. Looking out the window, the trees did not move, and the occasional car would pass by slowly. The bell rang, and it took her a moment to regain herself and hear the crowd of her classmates rush out the door and pile into the hallway, as they always did. But there was something just a touch different about today, although seemingly impossible to know exactly what. Maybe it was the way the wind seemed to breathe today, or the way everything seemed brighter, or the way each step she took melted into another, instead of the careful footsteps she was so used to, those which she would count silently in the back of her mind, one by one, by one...

I hadn't checked my account in months and saw that you had commented my "peace" picture. I just wanted to let you know that your writing is amazing, especially for your age. I would kill to have the flow that you do. Very capturing! And your artwork is also very expressive. This piece stood out to me for some reason. I felt like I was there with her, inside of what you were writing.
