"Why do you sit here in the back and not join the party? Shouldn't you honor Baldur like the rest?"Hod sighed. "I would if I could, but I have nothing to throw at him and so honor him, and even if I did, I cannot see to throw!"
Loki clucked his tongue gently. "That's too bad... but wait a moment... Here, I have something for you to throw... It's not much, just a small dart... "
"But how shall I know where to throw it? I don't want to miss..."
... Loki could hardly restrain the wicked grin that threatened to overtake his face and spill into his voice. "Don't worry, I'll guide your hand... come, it'll be fun..."
Hod gave an unassuming smile. "...Very well, have you the dart?"
"I do," replied the trickster, putting one hand on Hod's shoulder, setting the dart in Hod's hand and clasping it with his own. "Here... face this way... Baldur stands before you now, about ten paces. You have a clear shot."
Hod hesitated. "Are you sure your aim is true?"
Loki grinned unpleasantly. "Dead on. Trust me."

XD Ah Loki, always misunderstood.... but never misses the chance for trouble. Easy to see how jealousy can mess someone up like that.

Don't do it Hod! He's tricking you! What a wonderful addition to the usual festive holiday artwork. I love the evil grin on Loki's face, he's quite excited about what's going to happen. The red splotches add a kind of contrast and atmosphere to it too, reflecting the intent and the result. I really like Loki's shirt too, I want one like that.

The red splotches were drips of red ink I scanned in and editted and stuck behind the artwork... hehehe... yes... to signify the intent.
