Story:

Hurt by the rejection of her designs, Serena retreated to Cerise Laboratory, where she found comfort in the company of her Pokémon. Unbeknownst to her, the dark butterfly of Shadow Moth found its way to her, transforming her enchanted socks into an Akuma.
Shadow Moth's sinister voice echoed, "Fly away, my evil Akuma. Wrap her heart in darkness and despair!"
As the Akuma latched onto Serena's socks, she was consumed by negative emotions. In a flash of purple light, Sockfection emerged, her heart now filled with resentment and the desire to control others.
