This pic is FAR overdue! I'm a huge fan of the Hoenn region from the pokemon games, and remakes of the third gen games were something I've waited a long time for. AlphaSapphire and OmegaRuby were just.... perfect. They were easily my favorite pokemon games in the entire series, I honestly can't think of anything in the remakes that was not as good, if not better, from the originals. Which brings me to the two gorgeous women you see before you, the femme fatales of Hoenn's evil teams: Courtney and Shelly. While I didn't find the admins of Team Magma very interesting, the original red-head Shelly was a poke-gal I found to be under rated and really liked, and I'm actually torn as to whether I prefer new or old Shelly, as least design wise, since in terms of personality ALL of the members of Team Aqua and Magma were improved.

So the story behind this one is fairly simple: Dylan was hired by.... someone (lets say Steven) to kidnap Shelly and Courtney. Luckily for him, he managed to find them already about to fight each other over petty rivalries and beliefs of the world. Nefertiri and Chunks were able to break them up however, and even then they seem more focused on each other than they do about getting captured. Such is the way with rivalries I suppose.

A couple of notes about this image: Yes, it is REALLY overdue as these two have become some of my favorite characters in the Pokemon world, not to mention it is my FIRST image related to Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby (though I assure you it won't be the last!) Also, I decided to update the designs of Chunks and Nefertiri a bit to differentiate them and make them stand out from the usual design. Chunks is a bit thinner and has a couple of rings on his "bangs", while Nefertiri is larger so that she can hold captives inside of her, as well as smaller hands. She also still has the eyelashes on her eyes and the gagged mask on her forehead.

I was REALLY pleased with how this image came out, both colour wise and with the poses, definitely one of the more dynamic images I've done. I hope you all like it as well, take care! As for my next image, it will be fan art for something else I really enjoyed, but a bit more current than Omega/Alpha.
