Dex Entry: This Pokemon’s teeth are actually seeds. When they come into contact with its venom foam they blossom into flowers. Lapidifydo loves to turn its prey into flora-covered stone statues and decorate its cave with them.

Inspiration: This is based on Ovid’s description of Cerberus which was said to have venomous saliva and the power to turn people into stone. Ovid also said that wolfsbane was born from the dog’s poisonous spit. And according to Ovid, wolfsbane was given the name aconite due to their ability to grow on rocks
