Description
Today I was studying the history of animation, and searching for references through internet, then I remember those old cartoon characters that I watch when I was a child, so I try to draw them as wellTweety, Sylvester, Speedy Gonzales (c) Friz Freleng
Pepe Le Pew (c) Chuck Jones
Heckle and Jeckle (c) Paul Terry

It's Speedy!
I love how his whiskers are being swept back by wind resistance. And I _love_ his feet!

Wow, I remember some of these characters (mostly the ones that are by Chuck Jones because the two crows I never knew the names of so they kind of drifted out of memory). I'm a good fan of Pepe and Sylvester too ^^
Wonderfully done Polekai! You've really brought back some good memories to me !

It looks awesome!!!!! All i would suggest was that, well being a fan of Sylvester, I think his eyes, are a little more closer together...just a tiny bit more, and his ears seem a bit too long, they should be a little shorter. But I love your style, and I like how you draw them

Great job with the classic, Hollywood characters here! Their design and colors are very detailed and authentic, and I love the job you did with the shading. I think you did the best job with Speedy; his pose and expression is just so... him.

Yeah, but all of them actually older than my parent (WOW!!!)...so think 'about it, that's how good Chuck Jones's creativity is, until nowadays lots of us still remember 'n like those cartoon characters

My parents got to be born during that "Golden Age" period and did see these when they used to be on the big screen in movie theaters, before television came around and changed all that.
Though I see a little off-model variations in these, they're still quite good. "Heckle & Jeckle" weren't aired as much in my town, but I remember the characters fondly. Other familiar Terrytoons characters include "Mighty Mouse" and "Deputy Dawg", though more info on Paul Terry and the Terrytoons studio that once existed in New Rochelle, NY can be found here...

Yep! One book I could suggest that gives you a good idea of animation from all over within the past century would be Bendezzi's "Cartoons: One Hundred Years of Cinema Animation." I've read this book already.

Of course there's many other books out there, usually available in the US on animation as well.
