This first robot design of mine is my project of Modeling Basics in my college. Most of my classmates draw those Gundam-style robot, I choose my favourite dragon as my basic concept.Related content

i'm not saying Gundam is bad...(actually Gundam is the greatest robots that they ever design) what i mean is i just wanna design a robot out from Gundam style, but most people think that I hate Gundam...

Wonderful design there! Robots are hard to do with all those parts that have to fit together. Fabulous job on both the dragon and the rider ^.^

Now that's what I'm talking about! Forget Gundamesque mechs; if anyone had to have a battle robot, THAT's the way to go. XD DRAGONS! RAWR!
On a less hyper note; I love the shading, and the layout was done really well for that sort of picture. And you seem to have a lot of the mechanical side down; I like the hydrolic shocks at the feet; good touch!

That is a seriously awesome design!!!!!! You did a great job, wonderful use of marker. Did you use Prismas? I really like how you designed this, and drew it. Good job with the metalwork, and I really love the pistons on the legs.

Well, I was wondering because they looked like they were Prismas. I have a set myself, though I'm just going into college end of next month, so I haven't rendered anything for classes with them or anything, just idle playing around with them.
