Description
You can't have one without the other; here's Snipsy Snap and Snailsquirm, or as they're more affectionately known, Snips and Snails. I figure with their respective builds, Snails would grown up tall and rather skinny while Snails would be shorter than average but also a little chubby. Translating Snips' face style to his adult body was the hardest part, as his design follows its own set of rules compared to most other ponies (Truffle is another colt with this style who'll be coming later). Also, I was inspired by another artist's take on adult Snails with the way I drew his muzzle, but no matter what I tried, I couldn't find a source for that picture.

Snails is married to the now-mayor Diamond Tiara and father to their unicorn son, Crown Jewel. He works at Ponyville's new much larger school founded by Princess Twilight with Miss Cheerilee as its new principal. Snails is actually quite intelligent but learns at a much slower pace than most. Cheerilee was the first teacher to notice this and tutored him personally to help him reach his potential. Now Snails is a teacher specializing in working with students with learning disabilities like himself.

Snips now lives in Manehatten working as a mane stylist and married to fellow stylist Babs Seed with a currently unnamed unicorn daughter. He is still very much the immature hyperactive punk he was as a colt, though now he translates that rebel streak to mane-styling. Unfortunately, his hyperactivity combined with his short attention span led to school troubles, and he dropped out to pursue a career in mane styling full-time. Despite this, Snips and Snails still remain steadfast friends to this day, fully accepting each other's life choices, and visiting each other as much as their careers will allow.

There's more to the story of these two, including how they met their special someponies, but those are stories for another time. Until them, feel free to let me know what you think of these design for Snips and Snails and any questions you may have.

Edit- Redrew their manes and Snips' tail to fix a couple mistakes I made and make them look better.
