Best. Birthday. Ever. Or it would have been, if Sasha hadn't decided to leave and go home early. Apparently she wasn't feeling well - it was probably the chicken yesterday, it hadn't tasted quite right - so she had left him there with the rest of their friends. He had been about to insist he leave with her, but Reiner had announced a game of beer-pong and managed to convince him to stay.

Despite all the invitations to stay at people's houses, Connie had insisted on going home, for obvious reasons. Birthday or not, he had to take care of his sick girlfriend. And yes, he was drunk, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to try.

"Sasha...?" He called as he got home, to find the place dark. Had she already gone to bed...? How late was it? He frowned, locking the door behind him and slipping off his coat and shoes, flipping on the lights as he headed into the living room. Curtains were closed, and it was... Well, it was tidy. Normally it wasn't. And in the middle of the room was a rather large box. A white box with red ribbon tied around it.

With a confused frown, Connie stepped over to it and squinted at the label. It read 'Just lift the lid xx' in what was unmistakeably Sasha's handwriting. He did, pulling it up and peering inside. What he saw made him laugh. There she was, all curled up in the box, sexy bunny outfit and half-eaten carrot in hand, sound asleep.

There was no way he could lift her, not from a position like this, and so he merely reached in and shook her shoulder gently. It was hard to get aroused - as he was sure was her plan - when she was so damn cute. When he received no response, he shook her again, a little harder. He was rewarded with a grunt, and a shake later, she opened her eyes.

"Mgh... Nn?" Lifting her head, she looked around, confused. "Oh..." She sat up and yawned, rubbing her eye with a fist, smudging her mascara. "Uh... Surprise?"

"Get out of the box, dork." He reached in a hand to help her, though she was the one who ended up keeping him upright. "How long have you been waiting for me?"

"I don't know." He shook her head, yawning again as she climbed out, looking down at her drunk little boyfriend with a fond smile. "You look like you had fun."

"Yeah, and so do you. Go wipe your face and we can go to bed." He smiled, not even bothering to try hiding a drunk little hiccup. "Your make-up is everywhere."

"Aw... I spent forever on it too..." She mumbled, wiping the corner of her eye and frowning at the black on her fingertip.

"Well you're always beautiful to me, little bunny." He smiled, taking a bite of her carrot with a wink.

"I was eating that..." She protested, pouting. Connie opened his mouth to reply, but she didn't let him. "Right, I was eating that, but now you are..." She sighed and rolled her eyes affectionately. So her last gift hadn't entirely gone to plan, as she stood in a skewed bunny outfit, the ears that had once been on her head laying in the box and her tail half hanging off her panties, make-up smudged over her face and her eyes half-closed with sleep, but hey. Stuff didn't always go to plan.
