Cute little guy. I love the running pose. Plus I also love when Sugimori draw's pikachu's smile. It tends to be better than anime pikachu's smile.

Eep, forgive me, I just noticed the "Advanced critique encouraged" sign. ^^ I always put that up, so I know how one can appreciate when someone actually notices that. xD
Well, the overall position is extremely cute - but the feet look just a little odd.... The one on the left looks like it tilted too far to the front and the right one looks tilted a little too far down. The front paws are as adorable as the expression, but the center corner of the mouth seems a little off too. ^^ The shading is a nicely rendered version of the original gameboy art, though I could see maybe a few more darker colors here and there - but it still looks very nice.
