Description Silkscreen print ( Which means I Printed it with a screen, ink, stencil, and a squegee) Not made with a computer...

just finished in class today.. 5 color print... This is a crappy one... all the good prints in the series are still at school...

But i wanted to post something...So i just snaged a A.P. (AP= Artist Proof, as opposed to 1/10, 2/10... ect. which is the true number in the series) to post here...

*UPDATE* - If your not familiar with the silkscreen process, Each color seen in a print requires its own form of stencil (each stencil to create/print takes close to 1.5 hours including cleanup, where you have to wash everything with ink on it so you can use a new color) The whole printing process is difficult yet highly rewarding... I encourage anyone to take a printing class

hahaa nice job once again. i love how your humour plays a part in so many of your works

i've seen some silkscreen done and its rather expensive and its most likely relative to the painstaking process... I really love that you tried it because I think its important for any artist to explore other mediums and your turned out quite well... well done!

ah, polaris, it is because of pieces like these that you are my fave deviant here!
you are really talented ... do you need a manager? i'll make you famous!

wonderful technique -- i'm afraid i can only appreciate the piece as a viewer, not a creator, for i have not been thru that process, my 'unexperienced' mind tells me this is very well done! great colors, great use of selected poses!
