Description
Today we have a jellyfish, because why not!
They've always fascinated me since I was a kid, but I was deathly afraid of them for the longest time too. Now I just find them gorgeous
Did you know that jellyfish sleep? And that, like us, they get tired if they're deprived of sleep? A study was published last year about this, it's pretty interesting considering jellyfish have no brains!

I like this one a lot! Like a lot a lot. Would you ever consider making like, a large do-over of this? Cause honestly I'd love to buy it

Well this was done on A4 size, which is the size I usually work with, but I did think about doing a better (less rushed xD ) version of it some time, because I do really like how it turned out and I feel a bit sad that I didn't have more time to work on it ^^ You can note me about it if you'd like!
Thank you so much Zanny-face

Interesting technique!
I really like this drawing... the black colour of paper gives an illusion of depth of the ocean.

Thank you! I was very happy when I saw that using gel ink was also allowed, originally I was going with black ink on white paper, but for a jellyfish this worked so much better!

Thank you!
Yeah, I didn't either until I read the study. It's really weird since scientists usually relate the need to sleep to brain function, so if jellyfish have no brains but still sleep, and they're also some of the oldest animals around that barely changed throughout the times, it seems to indicate sleep is something pretty ancient and not necessarily related to brain activity.
