My very first scratchboard piece featuring my lord of darkness, Athanasios .

So, pretty much ever since I started taking drawing seriously (about 12 years ago) I've wanted to do a scratchboard piece. I discovered these amazing things when I started uploading my art online, but I was never have to find them for sale around here. Buying them through the Internet was out of the question, so I was never able to try them out.
Until a couple of months back when my sister, LivingInThisFantasy , found them for sale on an art supply store and I was over the moon when she brought me a small piece for me to try it out.

I have fallen hopelessly in love.
Not only I love the medium but it's easy to carry all I need around with me and even work on pieces while at work Which means there will be more where this one came from Especially since I've already gone back to the store to buy more of them c:

Of course, I've altered the colors digitally afterwards, you can see the original one here .
