I got spoiled a little as far as wyvern riders go, because I started my involvement in the series with Radiant Dawn, and Haar was crazy strong in that. I also favour Myrmidons and Mercenaries a lot.

I'm trying to imagine what they might be saying based on their expressions, but because of the title, all I can think of is them saying "Onee-chan" in different ways. Hm... Yes... An awkward-sandwich.
Also, the way you do armor here is simple, but effective. Very nice.

I think that's how it came about. For Hoshido he's blood but hasn't lived with them so I felt they'd be but a little untrusting and stand offish. For Nohr I imagine they want to make sure you don't leave them.

Nohr > Hoshido.
....Hoshido's cool, too, it's just that Nohr's got more of a challenge, a supposedly more interesting story, and... bigger 'assets'.

I'll probably be playing Hoshido first, get feel for the new changes and battles and then head into a Nohr run.

You did a really good job creating a crowded environment. When there's a lot of people in a single shot like this, it's tempting to fudge proportions and stuff when things get tricky. But I can't find anything of the sort in this. That's a testament to your skill and patience.
The grayscale coloring adds shape to the image, which is very important in precise black and white line work like this. However, I'm not sure that darkest tone you use is quite dark enough. Have you considered adding some solid blacks to the image in addition to the grayscale shapes? Doing so might help make this image really "pop!".
You capture the emotions of all the characters really well. They all show their distinctive personalities, haha. I'm not familiar with fire emblem, I'm afraid, but I feel like they would be right at home an Japanese RPG, or Anime. Their spirits are very lively!

Thank you for the feedback. I don't know the characters much myself as the game isn't out yet. I just had these ideas in my head and was curious as to how they'd look. Normally I would spend some time on balance, contrast and shading but I'm a little pressed for time so I decided on trying this style.
expect more finished stuff in the future...time permitting

Had a feeling this might happen. Another awesome but potentially scary idea now that I think about it. XD

I really interested to see how attached we get to the characters before we begin the second play through
