She can't use a map or compass, but has a golden compass...nice play on words, and...depiction of her being lost, two cuccoos with one stone! Actually, that's a bad idea.

Good news: Linkle was confirmed for Hyrule Warriors: Legends. But for some reason, she uses two crossbows instead of one. They confirmed that she'll even do a spin kick attack. I was overly excited over the announcement.

Tetra was what made me hyped for the upcoming 3DS version, but Linkle being announced made me really hyped.

So, is the 3DS version going to be for just the N3DS, or the "old" one as well?

It'll be playable on the older ones, yes. But here's some things that you need to know: The 3D feature is not available on older models, but is exclusive to the newer models, the framerate is bad on the older models, but is very good on the newer models, and the game doesn't run very well on the older models, but runs awesomely on the newer models. I don't know about the graphics, though. I have the game on preorder, along with Twilight Princess HD.

I already have it on Wii U, but I'm still getting it on 3DS, since there differences between the Wii U version, and the 3DS version.

Well, the 3DS version won't have multiplayer nor the Challenge Mode. But the Wii U version will not be getting the new story elements the 3DS version is getting, which is why I'll be keeping the Wii U version after I get the 3DS version.

Challenge mode, too much to describe. But, the Boss Pack (Ganon Pack in Japan) let's you play as beast Ganon in Ganon's Fury, but only in Challenge Mode. And Cucco's Fury has to be unlocked if you want to play as a Gold Cucco in Cucco's Fury.

Oh, sounds interesting. I've thought for the longest time that playing as Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf is the same game would be interesting, Ganondorf as he tries to conquer the world, and Link and Zelda trying to fight him. Nintendo, do that, 'k? Ha, ha, I doubt they're reading this.

My Fairy? That's for the 3DS too, right? It sounds fun, whatever it's for! I love how Nintendo is adding new features for Zelda games, I hope they'll keep making moves like the one they did with "A Link Between Worlds", first the magic gauge, and then the bracelet that made Link flat, that really added a new dimension to the game!

The My Fairy system will allow players to customize their fairies, such as dressing them up as characters (Though, they don't actually show up in-game dressed however they were dressed, since they just appear in the same way as other fairies). I think that type of thing is pretty cool, and is one of the other reasons why I can't wait for the game.

The fairies help you, I think. But from what I read, they do help you, but you have to find the fairies first in order to unlock them according to what I read.

I don't really mind when she tells me to do something I already know about, I mean, as a character she's great, trying to keep Link from getting lost, just not always as a gameplay element, repeating information, like if Sheik fell from the sky a thousand times to reteach me a song, it'd been a great alternative if they just had it so you had the information stored like the music notes, or if you had to play Saria's Song and say you didn't want to talk to Saria, but tell Navi yes when asked if we want to talk to her, that way she could be accessible but not intrusive. Or if they just did like what they did for Midna and you just call on her for advice.

I know you do, but look at it this way, she was the first fairy, right? Without her, the rest, Tatl, Tael, Ciela, none of them would have existed...uh, I'm not sure if that makes her better or worse, the fact she's a necessary evil, or the fact that Nintendo had a learning experience that may not have gone over as well as it could have.

I guess I just look at it less like a game and more like a story, Navi's going to be the helpful, if not slightly overprotective, fairy that tries to talk Link out of doing something dangerous, not to mention the power of L-Targeting and tracking she gives you.

If you want to play Challenge mode (Which, is how you can play as beast Ganon), or, play in multiplayer, then you'll have to get the Wii U version. It's what I'm doing. I mean, I already have the Wii U version (I had it since the day it came out), and I'm getting the 3DS version for the new characters, the my fairy system, and the new story elements.

Kinda offtopic, but I have seven amiibos: Link (SSB), Zelda (SSB), Peach (SSB), Inkling Boy (Splatoon), Inkling Girl (Splatoon), Zero Suit Samus (SSB), and Ike (SSB). But, I only use them for Hyrule Warriors, and five out of seven for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS.

So, the Splatoon characters are Smash now? I heard Corrin is also Smash, but FE:F seems pretty complicated, though I can appreciate the concept of a story that you choose the plot line for.
Anyway, speaking of HW, I finally posted a Linkle story, the only one without Link in it, or, at least, from the stories FanFiction has on it, I'm sure there's others on different sites that are probably Linkle centered. Oh, and I watched her video the other day, it was in Japanese so I didn't read the words, but some guy on Reddit, something about Saturn in his username, translated the words...I've gone a little far, though, unless I can say she's waking up in the afternoon...people take such naps, I'm sure.

The Splatoon ones are not in Smash. But they did make a line of three amiibos dedicated to Splatoon. They made the two Inklings and the squid (Which,in North America, you have to buy the three pack if you want the squid amiibo). There is a rumor that Nintendo is going to release Octoling, Callie, and Marie amiibos.
